First time at day care how to cope ?

my son is 10 mnths old and he`s going to day care for the first time tommorow. How were your kids the first time

My son was nervous and cried a little, but after I left, I snuck back and he was having fun.

My daughter did great the first week,but the second week she cried when I would drop her off.By the next week she was fine.She is 3 1/2.It is good to start them in daycare at your child's age. It has been 4 months and she loves it there. I lover her teachers and I know my daughter is fine with them.

mine was scared to death he was moms little man.  if you have the right daycare you will know after a few visits he should adjust better if he's still crying bad after awhile find a new daycare.  my first one was horrible.  their excuse was he came at the wrong time of the day!  most daycares are wonderful my second raised my son like i did.  you will know but remember he will almost always cry(mom leaving).  not scared to be there

my daughter was 6 months old when she first went to day care and I didn't think she would understand but the minute I handed her over to her teacher she started to cry. I cried to I just held her and calmed her down when she was calm I left. after a few days she was fine. and she was so happy to see me when I came to get her. that was the best part seeing her face light up when she say me at the end of the day.
