First time at with a bus station

Question

I need to get from League city TX to Plano TX and i never used a bus before. can i buy the ticket at the station and leave the same day? how much will it cost? how many busses will i need to take?

I tried to do some research for you, but it wasn't as easy as I thought. There is no Greyhound from League City to Plano. I imagine you'll have to get a local commuter bus to Houston, the Greyhound to Dallas and then another commuter bus from Dallas to Plano. With the local buses, you'll pay as you get on; with Greyhound, there's usually a ticket counter. A one way ticket from Houston to Dallas costs $44.50 minimum.
