First time cheerleading advice?

I'm 13, going into 8th grade. Cheerleader clinics and tryouts are the first week of school. I've never done cheerleading before, but I've done dance. Everyone seems to have so much fun, and I really love my school and its team. I've had no tumbling classes, I can do a pretty good splits, ok cartwheel, and alright jumps I'm hoping that my spirit and personality will impress the coach, if not get me on the squad. Any advice for me? It'd be appreciated.

  1. do not act flakey, stuck up, or arrogant-be yourself and let your true personality come out-don't let the nerves show but don't be so confident that u come off as a jerk-
