First time dinghy sailing?

I'm going out tomorrow on a B14 with a friend who has been sailing dinghies for years and I won't have a chance to talk to them before I go out.

I've got a Gill Speedskin and dinghy boots. Do I need a spray-top, and is something meant to be worn under the speedskin (I've heard thermals/rashvests mentioned)?

Only if you expect to get cold. If you are racing you may get wet, I would only worry about that if there is the chance that you will get wet but more importantly cold.
