  1. if you don't know the ins and outs of a game, it's very easy to lose at it.  You can even play slot machines wrong believe it or not! (they're the easiest though)

just pick a game that you are interested in, and read up on it, learn about it..

For me, I think Craps is great! It just LOOKS difficult.  Blackjack is more difficult to play CORRECTLY than Craps is.

If you wanna go strictly "easy" then Roulette or Slots is the way to go

But you probably wont get rich playing them...

Good luck and have fun! Like the previous poster said it's all how you look at it...dont gamble more than you can afford to lose!

  2. Roulette has the best odds.

Blackjack is then your next best option.

Both these games are easy to learn and have lots of excitement. To find the best casino near you, I used http://www.guidetoukcasinos.co.uk and they also give you the rules so you can learn before you go.

  3. If you know how to play poker, go to the poker room.  You're not playing the house there, just the other players.

Baccarat and Blackjack have the smallest edges for the house, somewhere between .5% and 2% depending on how good you are.  Every other game is worse.  Slots pay between 80%-90% of what gets put in, stay away from them.  If you play roulette, bet on red or black, but even then there are 1 or 2 green 0 spots that give the edge to the house.

The best advice is only take what you can lose, don't try to get back even if you're down, and just figure that the money you're gambling on is the cost of your night out.  If you think "I spent $150 having fun" rather than "I lost $150" you'll be a lot happier and less likely to waste more money trying to get even.

  4. Some of these answers are laughable!  Roulette?? Slots???  Two of the worst odds in the house.  Sometimes you can find slot machines that have a %98-%99 payout and those are okay.  If you're going to play machines I would suggest video poker.  For table games, go with Blackjack and Craps.  For free tips on these and other casino games go to http://GamblingReviewsSite.com/casinogam...

  5. Blackjack

  6. well the bigger you bet the better chance you have to win on the slot machines but it all is a game of chance! good luck.

  7. Anyone who says Roulette has good odds should be banned from answering questions on here forever. Roulette is the very WORST table game in the casino with a house edge of 5.26%.

The pass line and don't pass line with odds are the very best bet in the casino (house edge of less than 1% if you play odds), and in my opinion, craps is the most fun game. Plus, it's a very easy game to play if you stick to the pass and don't pass line. Just walk up to the table, tell the dealer you were told to play the "pass line with odds" and ask what that means. They'll be happy to tell you.

The most popular table game in a casino is blackjack. Blackjack has a low house edge IF you play correctly. If you do not play correctly, the odds are terrible. Read up on proper basic strategy at blackjack, and buy a small strategy card to help you make the proper decisions when you're at a casino.

If you want to play machines, play video poker. The house edge is very low when played correctly. If you want to play slot machines for fun go right ahead, but statistically they are not a great game to play.

  8. If you know how to play blackjack then go with that.  Otherwise you are fine by betting on roulette.  For a first time casino goer, I would advise you to soak in the sights first.  Have fun without betting too much.  In order to actually win, you gotta put up the money,  bet no less than 1/10th of your entire bankroll on every bet.  If you take $100, then you should go with a $10 minimum and don't be afraid to bet more than $10 at any given time.

Also very important is not to get sucked in to "conventional wisdom" spouted out by other players who look like they know what they are doing just because they have a lot of money in front of them.  This is the case mostly on blackjack because there aren't too many people who agree on how to play the game.

  9. if you know how to play cards then that might be your best bet. When you play cards you have control over what is happening with your hand (most of the time). If you play slots its just hit or miss...you have NO control
