I'm 20 and i never got a job before since i been taking more than 15 credits per semester in my university. I have an AA degree, and i'm working in my Bachelors in Nursing (2 more years) to finally apply for Medical School. My current GPA is 3.9. I never had the necessity of working, i don't really need the money; however, i want to work because i think it is important to get the experience. Besides, my friends are annoying me because i'm the only one that doesn't have a job. I spent 4 days of the week in school, (6:00 am - 5:00pm) so i do have extra time to work. What do you guys think, should i get a job, or join more clubs, which one would it look better in my resume?

  1. Ultimately, it is really your decision.  But my Dad always said you have the rest of your life to work.  An education is far more important!  Especially if you are excelling!!  I would probably start with a small part time job.  Because I would be concerned with it interfering with your studies.  Definately just keep school your number 1 priority!!!  Good JOB though on all you've accomplished keep it up!!!

  2. get a job

  3. Well, if you don't need the money I say just join more clubs

  4. Hi

its part time jobs 100% Geniune company because i am also earning this website

    u will try and visit

    www.partTimeworld.com

  5. If u dont really need money dont get it. Education first then job but if u want to experience how it feels u should consider gettin a job

  6. If your going to become a nurse I would get some hospital experience. You can volunteer as a candy striper or something like that. That would look great on a nursing resume and probably get your friends off your back. Also since you are volunteering you can get out of working easier and it's not a mandatory thing.

  7. 6 am to 5 ???? Are you nuts? When will you do your homework? Sorry, no.  I would wait until the summer to take less credits and then take a summer work.  You still have a long way to go.  Stress is NOT good and with your average you could get scholarships no problem.
