First time getting a job? (part time)?

I'm 16 and i want to apply for a part time job. I've never had one before, and am really nervous. What are some good tips to ensure I get the job, and perform well once i've got the job?

Dress nice at interview's.

Keep eye contact.

Act professional.

Ask question's (but be sure to let the interviewer speak first, and do NOT enterupt).

At the end of the interview, shake hands and say it was nice meeting you, with a smile on your face.

A lot of young people looking for their first job head to the mall. You can pretty easily get hired at a retail store in the mall. The pay is average, and you'll get some work experience there. If you work at a place you like to shop at, you will also get a nice discount on your purchases. Right now several stores are hiring for the holiday season which will be here in a few months....

I would most definitely AVOID the advice given on this website by some individuals directing you to a company where you can earn unlimited amounts of money, and basically something too good to be true. Good luck!!
