First time harvesting potatoes in a bag.?

Question

I have grown some potatoes in bags and just dug down about 6 inches and they are the size of eggs, will they be bigger at the bottom of the bag as I want to tip them all out.

The other thing is there are no flowers but the leaves are dying out on the first bags, I didn't think this was right, They are Pentland Javelins.

if the leaves are dying of you could leave them for another 2 weeks keep on adding some water to help the tubers swell up a bit more.

if the potatoes you feel are egg size the lower are not certain to be bigger but they should be.

if you have more than bag spread it over a period and empty one and see what they are like

i didnt have many flowers when i grew mine in bags.

you still have time to put some more in bags i set 2 bags up last week
