First time in America ? ?

Question

If you had friends coming to visit you that had never been to America, what places or things would you do with them ?

It can't be costly and can't travel too far... I live in Florida and we plan on going to Louisiana with them.

Any other suggestions ??

if you're gonna be going to louisiana, why not travel a little further west to texas?  take them to texas to break the stereotypes that everyone here has horses and cows!  i reside in austin right now and there's lots of stuff to do: museums, shopping, UT...  go to san antonio or houston!  those places are always fun!  well, to me it is...

That sounds good- you're in a good area in that part of the country, and Florida and New Orleans are "famous" places to most foreigners. Hit Miami for sure, and don't miss New Orleans. I think your friends will have a good time.
