First time mom induced and still sent home HELP?

was scheduled for an inducement yesterday with a completely shut closed hard cervix after 6 prostaglandin gel treatments i was 50% and 1centimeter anybody have any suggestions or input just anything im a first time mom and just need some input on wuts goin on here

your experiences????

How far along are you?? I would let nature take its course... that baby is going to come when its ready...

With my first I was only dilated to a "half" and I was given prostaglandin gel around 11am. (I was 40 weeks and I had very high blood pressure) Some contractions started and I was sent home. They were planning on giving me petocin the next day. I wasn't home long when my water broke. Then contractions really took off, so I went back to the hospital and was given petocin and had the baby around 6am.

I hear that prostaglandin rarely causes labor to start like it did with me.

Also with my second I LUCKILY went into labor on my own at 38 weeks. It was a much better experience :). Well see how it goes this time (I'm almost 37 weeks and getting quite anxious!)
