First time mom induced but sent home HELP?

was scheduled for an inducement yesterday with a completely shut closed hard cervix after 6 prostaglandin gel treatments i was 50% and 1centimeter anybody have any suggestions or input just anything im a first time mom and just need some input on wuts goin on here

your experiences????

i was induced too, but not sent home since it progressed steadily for me and I live an hour and a half away from the hospital. i was told that everyone is different, and it could take up to 3 days after being induced to actually go into labour, and the first time can often take a long time (as opposed to if this was a second or third child for you.) So it seems like there is no urgency to get the baby out which means you both must be healthy enough - yay! I suggest (it will be hard!) that you just relax and wait as patiently as possible, try to sleep because you will need all your energy soon enough. it's important to just trust the medical pros.
