Hi, I will be moving out to a different state soon, and it will be my first time moving out of my family. I'm not going to take any furnitures with me. I will basically start out from scratch and bring only my clothes, laptop, and a few daily accessories. Can you please share your experience? What kind of things do I need to prepare? What I should bring and what I should not bring? I'm already working with a landlord via phone to get a place secured, so I have a place to live when I arrive.

  1. depending on where you are moving is how to determine what to take for instance if you are moving south you wouldnt need tons of winter clothes just a big jacket and a light weight, plus you should getn to your knew place and see what kind of actual space you will have you can always go back home and get more stuff,if you cant afford new furniture you should check out thrift stores yardsales and such also on craigslist there is a free area and people give away everything from dishes, furniture washer and dryers , also get all the free stuff from your mom that you can sets of sheets towels dishes what ever she has
