First time paintballing, what should i wear?

i'm going paintballing with some friends for the first time tomorrow, and i was wondering what i should wear/bring. we're playing in one of my friend's woods in his backyard, and he said he'd give me the mask and gun. i wanted to know what clothes i should wear so i dont get bruised up too badly, although it's summer and i don't want to be too hot out there. thanks in advance!

Wear jeans and a short or longsleeve shirt, it doesnt hurt too bad...

Wrap yourself up in Charmin toilet paper.  For protection, it works great.

well..a mask.....long sleaves...(.maby even two)

long thik pants...because it will hurt!!

yah..well i play airsoft in 100+ degree weather wearing a hoody(wich by the way is a good thing too wear)and it doesn't bother me much

getting hit with a paintball isnt very painfull, its a 2 second pain then its just a light throb for a minute

i would suggest a tshirt and a light sweatshirt over that and a heavy pair of pants

Getting hit with a paintball hurts for about 1 second, literally. I would wear just one layer. A long sleeve shirt that you don't mind getting dirty, and maybe regular cargo pants. That's about it. It's blast, you will enjoy it.

Jeans, maybe a nut-guard, and I would suggest something that covers your neck. I went paint balling with a friend, and a paint ball hit her neck....well it looked like a hickey and she got teased endlessly for it! And it was pretty painful!

i always wore thick pants like jeans or army camos and a thin long sleeve shirt over a t-shirt.  

once you start playing, the adrenaline builds up and you don't really feel the hit too much, but if you're hit on bare skin it could welt.

also, bring lots of water...after a round you'll be dying for a drink.

I would go with some type of underamor undershirt then go with a long sleeve. it doesn't hurt really, after you get shot, your like " gimme some more!!"

Well you really don't need much I just play with a mask. But you can wear a chest protector. And wear jeans and long sleeve. I have been playing for a while and haven't got bad welts or bruises and i just wear a t-shirt and jeans. But at my feild they have a surrender rule. Which means you can't get 10-15 feet closer. If you do something like that you should be good.

just try to cover as much of your body as possible, so id use gloves, long trousers, long sleves, and a hoody (you put the hood up under your mask, it means you cant get hit in the back of the neck because the hoody pulls tight and paintballs bounce off.)

Also, if your a fast person id wear trainers, but if your not gona be doing any serious running id wear good walking boots.
