  1. As far as caring your book bag you should be fine you dont really have restrictions unless you have complications. but you shouldnt really carry more than 25lbs. as for eating you do what you can. i didnt eat the greatest because my body couldnt handle it i got sick, and my daughter was fine. you should be ok! good luck!

  2. Keeping life as normal in the start is that best option that i found. It kept me relaxed. As long as your backpack isn't to heavy then you should be alright. That might be something that you find hard or uncomfortable to carry around for 2 days a week all day though as you get further on.

Keeping a good diet is good for the baby. Don't forget to keep your fluids up.

  3. It is safe to lift up to 20 lbs while pregnant, so if your backpack weighs less than that, I wouldn't worry.  However I would worry about your diet.  It is important to eat square, healthy meals.  And your snacks should be healthier too.  Its easy to carry fruit and yogurt with you and if you have even a tiny break during the day, eat at the cafeteria.  Remember you're doing this for the health of your baby.

  4. Try to leave some of your books in your car or locker. It will be easier on your back.

I would snack on healthier food - nuts, fruit, baby belt cheese, yogort ect... Pack you a little lunch box with an ice pack. This is much better than fruit loops and crackers - they have nothing good in them.

    Best wishes :o)

  5. Right now the weight of the back pack is probably fine. It's when you start to show and your back is hurting from the pregnancy alone that you should probably look into one of those rolling ones.

You should probably try and eat a little more. Maybe throw in a V8 and a sandwich each day. Talk to your professors and tell them what your situation is. There is bound to be one that will be sympathetic and let you have your sandwich in their class. Good luck and Congrats!
