First time snowboarding...?

I'm going snowboarding for the first time next week and I'm wondering if I should buy a pair of ski goggles??

Also, does anyone know where I can find a cheap pair of ski pants in toronto?

My first times snowboarding I managed to rent a pair of goggles for about $6/day, take a look around and see if you can do that.

Places like Sport Chek sell goggles for about $30 but they're pretty low quality.  If you want a nice pair you'll be laying down about $80+.

I'd recommend trying to rent or borrow a pair before laying down serious cash.  If it's a nice clear sunny day you should be fine with just sunglasses.

I would buy a cheap pair of googles and then use them it is windy and the snowblowers are on. That wat i do when i snowboard.
