Question:

First time with makeup?

It's getting onto my senior year in high school and I want to look... not different, but I want to start wearing makeup. I've NEVER worn any before because I saw no need. From a distance my freckles hide most of my acne, and I always thought that makeup was for older people.

I'm worried about hiding my freckles (I like them) and my eyes can range from a bright blue to a gray-green (depending on what I'm wearing). I have very pale skin and can sometimes get circles under my eyes depending on sleep.

Does anyone have any suggestions for products/application for a VERY natural and light look? Or do you suggest not wearing any at all yet?

  1. just wear foundation and concealer that match your skin tone. and only use eyeliner on the top of your eye lids if you want a more natural look. for a mroe dramatic look also put eyeliner on the bottom of your eyelids as well. wear nude eyeshadow and a bright lipstick/lipgloss or do the opposite and wear a bright eyeshadow and nude lipstick/lipgloss because you dont want to over do it.

  2. Less is more.

  3. mineral makeup is very sheer and if you want your freckles to show put on a light coat. put concealer on before your mineral foundation on your eyes to reduce bags. brown liner or purple would look pretty on your skin tone and a little pink lip gloss should really make u look naturally pretty :).

  4. I use Prestige iQuad eyeshadow palletes from Walgreens and a little mascara. Brush a little skin colored powder on my face and/or bronzer on my cheekbones WITH A LARGE MAKEUP POWDER BRUSH not the SPONGES that come with powder, and I use light colored lipstick if any (like pinks, and coral) I like Rimmel, Prestige, Burts Bees, and Psychian's Formula makeups. I also like the applicator on Mary Kay mascara (the only one not available at Walgreens.

Remove your makeup every night- I suggest usuing wet wipes, like Almay makes some.

  5. try Bare Minerals.

i use it, its very light

i wouldnt even call it "makeup"--

its more of a complexion enhancer

like it ads color and brightness

its very light, and fun to use because its just powder and brushes.

so it only takes me about a minute or two to use it in the morning

and its good for your skin because its just minerals

go to ulta or search online for bare minerals and check it out

  6. I would suggest wearing makeup, just a little and it really brings focus to your features. Wear some concealer under your eyes to brighten them up. A loose powder will help cover any redness/ blotchiness on your skin. (the brand Covergirl makes a great one) I think just a little brown eyeliner on the lower rim of your eyes really brings attention to them and mascara always looks good. Theres no need to wear eyeshadow if your going natural but a creme or gold always works. Remember to put just a little color on your lips with a colored gloss ( not red, but not clear) It totally brings the whole look together and looks cute. If you have acne the best way is to use liquid foundation/ concealer but if you dont want to cover any freckles just put a little dot of concealer on any blemishes.

  7. you can use covergirl trublend whipped foundation to make ur skin look more even. it feels like ur not wearing any makeup  at all and is not cakey. if u have undereye circles just use concealer but not too much because it will highlight ur circles even more.

  9. It's up to you whether you want to wear make-up or not but a little bit won't hurt. You could try wearing a sheer foundation (be sure to buy the right shade for your skin colour) or a tinted moisturiser. Try wearing gold or beige eyeshadow on your lids and a coat of either brown or black mascara. Wear a peachy blusher on the apples ofyour cheek and either a clear gloss orone with a pinkish tinge.

If you need more help you could always visit a department store and ask them for help (you can go to a drugstore afterwards and buy similar items for a fraction of the price).
