Each has first class hotels, which I love but I want to visit and see museums, churches, statues, etc and really get a prime view of Italy.

  1. If you want to do them all that would be awesome. But I sugget that you start at one end of the country and work your way either north or south. Rome and Venice have the most to see out of your list. Naples is nice but downtown is not as nice you may want to see Pompoii, herculuem or sorrento. Milan doesnt have much besides shopping and Como is stars but you most likely will not see any if that is why you are trying to go. Need more help let me know

  2. Venice and Rome! They're fabulous...

Milan is great also for shopping but is a bit dull...

Como is not that great... to me is the last to visit among the four of them...

  3. All the big cities are OK, but try also something off the path, like Ravenna.

  4. you should visit them all they are very nice places to go to  and have alot of fun during your trip also

  5. do Naples, Venice then Rome. start with como and everything else.

  6. Rome, Vatican City and Venice are my definite favorites but also try and visit Rimini or Bologna and the small Republic of San Marino.

  7. Right! I' d visit Florence first, than Venice is wonderful, romantic... but there are a lot of tourists!! I' d go also in the mountains...the alps. It' s an experience for me. And Verona! Romeo and Juliet...

  8. You should go to Florence first. If you find yourself there on a monday find the club named YAB, it is great on monday night. Also pisa is only 55 miles north.

  9. rome definetly..the best way would be to take one of the sightseeing busses..you can go around the whole city of rome and get off at each attraction and then get back on whenever you like throughout the whole day..it is also a really good deal at around 16 euros..i really reccomend it...also if you have a lot of time one day climb to the top of st. peters...the 500 steps are worth it for the view!

  10. As for Italian art, Florence is where everything began; Rome where it became worldwide popular. Venice it's somewhat different, almost a side story: if you want to experience the "how it was, where it was" - I mean most things are still where they were supposed to be when first designed, it's like seeing animals in the wild and not looking at them in a zoo.

So I would recommend Rome to anyone for a first time visit; but if you're really interested in art, you can't miss Florence.

Venice seems to be more a love or hate thing, maybe it's just too shocking for a first time visit, but on my personal rating it's worth a detour if you pass by the Solar system.

  11. you can fly into milan, rome or naples.  i would recommend rome first trip  if you visit milan see the last supper, cathedral, galleria & take a day trip to como.  spend time in venice & get a museum pass.  spend time in rome w/ daytrip to ostia.  if you get south to naples go to the museum & take trips to pompeii, the villas, erculeum & the isles...positano & south for beaches...

  12. My favourite is Venice (I live one hour by train from it), but even Milan is quite good.

  13. If you go to Rome, take a day trip out to the gardens at Villa d'Este.  The fountains are unbelievable!  In the city, you could spend several days just visiting Vatican City.  I would definitely make the climb to the top of the dome on St. Peter's.  You can't beat the view of the city!  Castel St. Angelo is a nice half-day and of course you have to do the traditional Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Novona and the Colosseum.  I only had 4 days in Rome and didn't even begin to see half of the museums.  I definitely hope to return someday.  Venice of course is so romantic, I really enjoyed the 2 days I spent in Sorrento, as well as Florence.  Hope you have lots of time (and money)! Ciao

  14. Venice, Rome, Lake Come, Milan.  but go to all!

  15. All of them do u have room 4 me? LOL!! Eat in Venice anywhere yummmmmm! Have a great time! Go see everything!
