First upgrades to make to a 1988 N/A 300ZX?

i've had my z for a year and its alright. a few things here and there i'm fixing up. my question is what are the first few basic mods and upgrades i should make to the car. it's an automatic and completely stock. also, any brands you recommend and where to buy them from. just any advice to get started. i'm about to be 19 so money is a bit of big deal too. thanks.

It depends on what you want to do with it....Intake, exhuast, high flow cat, headers (go to Motorsport auto @ www.zcarparts.com), JWT ECU (Jim Wolf TEchnology), cams (Motorsport Auto)...do it in that order should get you running slightly faster than a stock turbo Z. As the owner of both an N/A and Turbo Z you should either save for a turbo engine and manual transmission swap or sell the car and buy a Turbo Z if you want to make a serious increase in power. The N/A Z is a great first car nonetheless. Whatever you decide to do remember to drive safely and enjoy your Z!
