I am a freshman volleyball player and I have my first game this week. We are taking a bus there with the JV team. We will mostly be gone half the day so I was wondering are you aloud to bring food, snacks with you on game day to eat when you are not playing?

  1. Definately bring food.  Bring small things though, nothing to weigh you down. Nuts, dried or fresh fruit, that kind of thing.  Don't bring to much or you'll be tempted to eat it all.

  2. Yes in between games they allow you too.

  3. Dont overthink the food thing, granola bars, bananas and grapes are great, but never forget your water! You can play without a bite to eat, but it wears on you when your  not hydrated.

  4. Yeah, they wouldn't let you starve yourself! Of course, you can't eat while sitting on the sidelines watching the game, but between games, definitely. Good luck!

  5. Bring granola bars or something healthy but not heavy. I wouldn't eat during a game while sitting on the sidelines, but definately between matches!!

  6. Yeah, or bring money.  I'm sure they sell stuff at their concession stand.
