First year HS football ...

Question

I play DE and LT and this is my first year playing. Yesterday, we were doing reps and stuff, and I didn't know what to do. I do have a playbook, but not sure if I'm reading what I am supposed to.

you need to memorize as much as you can and know what you are supposed to do on each play

Keep going to practice, listen to the coach. HIT HARD. And don't worry about it. Believe me, there are sophs and juniors in big time college programs that don't know most of the playbook half way through the season. Don't get worried about it. It will come with practice. Good luck
