First year football help!?!?

It's my first year playing football. i just came out of middle school and im playing for high school. im a big kid 6 1" about 250 lbs. the thing is i had my first practice today and i didnt really like it. i just didnt like it. i also have practices everyday of the week for 3 hours and i have two practices on saturdays. and im already feeling sick to my stomach about my practice tomorrow, not because im a pansy its just a gut thing tellin me not to go. what should i do?

  2. man ill tell u, practice during august sucks ***, it has made me want to quit every year but then i get to that first game and im fine. if u dont like playing football its fine, then don't play, but if u think u might enjoy it down the road keep playing. the level of ur play may also indicate if u play or not. if ur a reserve ur suffering for nothing

  3. you have to have confidence in yourself, it was your first time your going to feel a little sick, your coming out of middle school, and of course your going to feel sick. you just always have to remember that your not the only one out there, and its just practice just go out there and show them what you got always step up you always want to be the best that you can be. so just go for it and you will succeed,

I've been playing football for years in pop warner.  I had my first high school practice monday.  Everyone thinks about quiting after the first day.  It's just about the getting back into shape thing that our bodies don't like. An that gut feeling is just that your still getting back into shape an when you are in shape I guarantee you'll love football.

  6. You really have to evaluate what you don't like about it.  If its the hard work you need to get over it life isn't easy and a team sport is a good way to prepare you for whats coming in a few years.  The hurts will get better and you could really enjoy the game itself.  If you don't like football itself then you probably shouldn't play football, maybe wrestling is more your speed.  

    Did you prepare yourself over summer knowing that you would be doing two a days?  

    I hope you stick with it, its a great game when your in shape.
