im going to be playing in my first year of college bball and my tryouts are the first week of october what do i need to do do to get in the best possible shape? what type of diet should i use?

  1. A diet is not that important, unless your way over weight and need to lose a ton of weight. If your in decent shape already, continue to improve that by lifting weights and conditioning. College ball is nothing like high school ball. Conditioning is very important to keep up with the fast tempo of the next level.


  2. The biggest issues in the transition to college basketball are defense and strength.  Get stronger in every aspect and all the footwork drills your high school coaches had you do should help you.  Play as much basketball as you can with college players.
