  1. Buy sinking pellets.

Then do a small (15-20%) water change in case there is any excess food that sunk to the gravel. Use a gravel vac.

I hope your sharks are still small, 100 gallons will not hold them for the duration of their life. I'd say at least a 8-10 foot long tank should be fine for them.

Congrats on not keeping them in a 10 gallon tank like some stupid people though!

  2. You may need to wean them onto the blood worms. It takes fish several days to get used to new food. For now since the other bala sharks are used to the other food put both kinds in the water but not full amounts. There may be toxins in the water that have caused the fish to get sick.I wouldnt really go upsetting the environment right now, but I would put some of the blue drops in there, that is safe to add while the fish are in. The stuff to purify the water and kill toxins.

  3. go back to the other food

  4. Try soaking the food in tank water in a cup first - it should help it sink.

Add the food using a turkey baster towards the bottom of the tank.

Try using frozen (thaw first in tank water) blood worms/brine shrimp.  I noticed if I use the frozen bloodworms they sink quickly, but if I used freeze-dried, they tend to stay towards the surface.

    Hope this helps, good luck

  5. start feeding them mini hikari cichlid gold pellets but soak them in water.

  6. bala sharks are not top feeders. thats why they dont go to they top. they will eat food that will sink. soak the floating pellets till they get soft and kinds smoosh it so it will sink to the bottom. good luck and hope they eat.
