Fish Eye Lense Question ?

I was wondering if a fish eye lense can be used on any camera ? I have a canon 40d camera and im thinking of getting fisheye lenses. At the same time, i also have a digital camera (samsung) So if i take a video with my samsung camera can i place the fisheye lense on top of it to make the video ?

Why is this question posted here.  It should be under electronics.

But, if the lens fit you can use it with any camera.  You may need an adapter to make it fit the len size.  Whether you use it for a camera or video your image will look round and distorted but your viewing range would be wider.
