Fish Show Info needed?

You know fish shows like best in show fish like dog shows but with fish, ANYWAY how do I sign up for one? Any near FL?I haven't gotten my fish yet but I used to have a betta when I was little (6 , 7, or 8 yr.s old) and my betta was soooo pretty! When I got him he was tiny his fins where all droopy and he was a ugly red but after I got him I took really good care of him and he got bigger his fins got all HUGE and pretty and he turned a bright shiny red so I always knew I would do good in a fish show but I have NO IDEA HOW TO SIGN UP FOR ONE!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!! Thankyou.

you can join a specific type of fish club in your area however not all areas got clubs for a specific fish.  If you wan't a betta then find a club or group for betta.  Just like koi , arowana or flowerhorn they got their own clubs for it.

Its the international betta congress and holds most of the betta specialist shows around the world, look up your local chapter via the website. It also has show standards. Pet store veiltails will NOT qualify as show standard, they're quite strict. Show quality fish will cost upwards of $20.
