Fish for a 30 gallon tank?

Question

what combinations of fish could i put in a 30 gallon tank? I like colorful fish but would rather have a few larger ones than a bunch of tiny ones!

Well you can add 3 glowlight danios, 3 male mickey mouse platies, and a small pleco like a bristlenose or a rubber lip should be fine

You could have Goldfish. I have Severums in mine and they get very colorful and large. I have red's and green severums. They have Gold also. There are Chiclids you could also try. They get very colorful. A bunch of different types you could try. Go to images and goggle fish tanks and they'll give you some ideas

Make sure you put fish who are "community fish" together. If you put any type of fish together, they will fight.

If you decide to get a pair of dwarfs,you could also have some bottom dwellers,a pair of Angels,and maybe a small school of tetra,or some live bearers.Is your tank up and running yet?You need to have the filter completely cycled before you add any fish.If you do not know about cycling,here is how to do it.http://www.fishlesscycling.com/articles/...

I would put some angel fish definantly at least 3 though. Also 1 catfish because they are usually good fish to have. 3 small shark fish. and that would be enough for me but if you want more maybe put a couple guppies. hope i helped and good luck

pictus catfish are the best and only grow to an approximate size of 12cm
