i have 5 gold fish one frog one red eared slider and a 10 gallon tank.

1-Im putting the turtle in a different bigger tank so dont worry about her.

2-one of my friends wants my gold fish (and im giving them to him because therye grtting to big.

3- im buying new smaller 1 inch gold fishes and 1 inch red rosy minnows and want to put the frog in there together.

4-im buyin approximately 3-4 of each fish and i want to fill the tank no lower than 6 gallons.

5- so the main question is how much water should i buy and will the fish bother the frog( i care more about the frog than the fish)?

PS: i really dont care if the frogs eats the fish but shes never senn any intrest in any other thing than crickets. shes a northern green frog.

  1. Yeah i was going to say you need a bigger tank for the RES.

but as for the frog and fish they will be fine together.

I dont understand why you asking how much water you should buy, do you mean how much water should you fill the tank?

minnows, guppy's ect.. are small fish and dont really need that much water/space to swim around.

The problem is going to be keeping the water clean.

I recomend you buy yourself a little $5 water filter so you dont have to change the water every second day.

As for the frog eating the fish, you proberly keep the frog full by feeding him his crickets ect... if you want the frog to eat some fish starve him for a few days. I dont recomend doing this, if your frogs happy eating his crickets then let him/her be.

    good luck.
