Fish losing all of its scales!?

Question

hi i have 2, 2 year old oranda goldfish. the bigger of the 2(i think it is female) has overnight lost about 15 scales on 1 side. the other fish is fine.

i will be taking them both to the vet but not until next wednesday as that is the only day that i can get an appointment. i would like to ask for any suggestions of what it is or wat i could do to keep my fish alive.

p.s she is not doing anything unusual

Sounds like breast cancer lol. Anyway stress coat should cure fin lost or scales lost, put just a little of aquarium salt to prevent diseases.
