  1. just find somebody that will buy them and sell them to that person

  2. Just make sure you have all males or all females, or if you dont know how to check... just get a fish that will eat them, doesnt matter most will even the parents... And goldfish are cold water fish mollies are not, do not listen to that person... she is very very wrong

  3. That isn't too much of a problem. Buy some peaceful gouramis (dwarf gouramis) and they will take care of your fry. The fry also gives them extra protien which brings out their best colors.

  4. Seperating the males and females just doesn't work. They are live bearers and the females can actually store sperm for several batches of fry. So even if you seperate them now, you will still end up with 500 or so more fry and no place to keep them.

Put in some larger comminuty fish and let nature take it's course. Thats as close as you will get to birth control for live bearers.

I use a kribensis cichlid to control my guppy population, but a small gourami would work too.

  5. Get a fish that will eat the babies. Goldfish maybe?

  6. Buy another tank and separate the males and females.  Don't buy fish to eat them, for crying out loud.
