My fish (Goldilocks) makes the fish tank really dirty by moving all the stones. Then I end up cleaning it. But if she doesnt eat her food (quite often) it just gets firty again. Which means more cleaning.

  1. She's smart. I bet if you didn't clean it so much, you'd have an ammonia buildup and she would die. If your tank is cycled you don't have to clean it so often.

  2. You should be cleaning the tank once a week anyway.  The best way is with a syphon pump type set up that sucks gunk up from the gravel.  After getting as much as you can, complete a 1/4 water change using aged water, at least 24 hours, and you're set to go.

  3. dont feed her too much and use a filter the filter should clean things up and do water changes every week. goldfishes are ver y messy

  4. Does she eat at all? If she does eat sometimes, then most likely you're over feeding her.. Or she is sick if she isnt eating at all.

Dont give fish too much food.
