does anyone sell fish sauce in the US?

Nearly every major grocery store that carries a fairly large line of Asian foods sells fish sauce!

I got mine at Kroger (in the N. TX area), I think!

If you don't find it there, go to the closest Asian market - they're in nearly every major city now!

asian supermarkets may have them. if not, an authentic thai supermarkets will definitely have them. it's a staple for many thai dishes.

Fish sauce is sold in the US.  The Filipino fish sauce is the most popular where I live is called Patis.  Look for fish sauce in the Asian isle of your super market.  Perhaps you are not looking for the right label.

Filipino - Patis

Vietnam - Nuaoc mam

Thailand - Nam pla

China - Yu lu

Yes it should be next to the Soy Sauce in any major supermarket. I got mine from ASDA, the UK name for Walmart.

yes, in the supermarket on the Asian foods aisle, near the soy sauce.  Just look for it.

You should be able to buy this at any Asian grocery market.  There are many different varieties and names for it, depending on where it comes from.  You may need to ask the grocer.  For a basic pantry item, look for a product that contains only anchovies and salt.  Remember to use it sparingly.  It has a very strong flavour
