Fisheye Lense For Cameras :?

Question

is it possible at all to make a fish eye lense simply ?

if not where can i buy one and for how much around melbourne

mind you im only 14,so im sorta looking for not a massively expensive one but not a dodgey one either

There are a number of wide angle converters on the market which s***w onto the front of your lens.I use one on a 24 and 28mm lens for ordinary 35mm cameras,it also fits my Hasselblad lenses.When the prime lens is stopped down to f11 or f16 the results are reasonable and I have used it for commercial work over the years,producing prints up to 20x24 inch for exhibition posters.The impact of the image is what you are going for rather than top professional quality,which you would only get with seriously expensive lenses.
