Hi, well first off, this summer I am going to my grandparents house in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. I am 17 and just recieved my boating and fishing license. The only problem is I dont have a boat to go out on the water with, and my dream was to fish all this summer. Does anyone have any suggestions as if I could rent a boat for the summer? Thanks!

  1. get a fishing guide for the area! its not too pricy but it makes fishing more fun becuase they have equipment that finds the fish and they know of spots where the fish feed at. around were i fish which isnt anywhere near u, price is about eh 250 for a trip all day, unless u wanna go deep sea fishing then thats a whole new story

  2. don't think that if you are going fishing that you need a boat, some of the best river fishing can be done from the shore. If you are looking for bass or pike all you need to do is walk the shore oar line and find good structure like rocks and fallen trees, cast up river and let the lure you are using flow over the structure and find the fish.

  3. You should look into these types of boats....http://www.jrwfishing.com/boats.html
