Fishing for june sucker?

how do you catch a JUNE SUCKER on a hook. i want to try to catch them without carp getting in the way. Or are you not allowed to catch any of them because they are endangered.I want to do a catch and relase (not keeping them) if i can. Is this possible.

I think you need to just leave them alone - if they are endangered who do you think you are to jeopardize their survival just to say you caught one? To me that sounds very irresponsible, in fact it is criminal.

Catch and release has nothing to do with it - I believe the law says LEAVE THEM ALONE.

There are plenty of other fish out there waiting to be caught.

would that be anything like a July sucker, or a August sucker, or a September sucker ect.
