  1. well the dog food would bring up catfish and the reason i use it is to tell if i even have catfish in my pond! and for those stupid bluegill.....just use a minnow or other larger live bait that the bluegill can't eat! i live in Oklahoma so i don't know the answer to number 4. the bass might see something that isn't right on the worm! so just try minnows they always work for me! yeah they would probably eat a sunny if it was small enough!

  2. HAHA, funny u should bring that up, 5 days ago, i was fishing and i caught a sunny, i let it swim around in the pond, next thing i know i have a 10 pound 25 inch large mouth bass on it! it was huge! if u want pics i can send u one! but sunnys work really well, just when u catch a sunny switch to a bigger hook, and put the sunny on there! DONT use dog food, it can harm the fish, use alot of corn! i would try using a texas rig, look it up on the internet, it works amazing! if u have aim or myspace we can talk there!

  3. 1-the dog food will sometimes attract catfish- it's purpose is sort of like chumming for salt water fish.

2- fish with a senko type bait, fished weightless- retrieve it with soft twitches of your rod tip- this lure hits the water very easy and does not spook the bass.

3-your frog lures will still work on this water-let the frog sink to about a foot or six inches above the sea grass and reel it in with the same retrieve as the senko type lure.

4- see the above suggestions - they work best during the summertime

5- they are not interested in the worms

6- he would have ate the sunny in a heartbeat

Keep at it, don't give up- you will succeed before long. Good luck and good fishing!
