Fishing in maine?

what kind of bait should i use while fishing the maine ocean coast....what fish to catch more infomation greatly appreciated

Herring and mackerel are excellent for fishing the mouth of the Saco River and south. Best fish to catch are striped bass and bluefish near the jetty.
