  1. It's been several years ago, but I remember doormat size flounder being taken from there using mud minnows as bait.


  2. I found this website about murrels inlet. This page takes you directly to their forum where people are discussing the fishing in the area. It shows pictures of one of the docks. I figured this might answer your question. Since Murrels Inlet is basically a fishing community/resort, then yes, the fishing is good there...lol.

  3. Murrells Inlet is a prime fishing destination for many fishermen; you can catch flounder, spot-tail (red drum), lady fish, blues, etc in this estuary.  Since it is a nursery (of sorts) for spawning fish, many larger fish prowl the inlet for food.  How do I know???.....I live there.
