Fishing license in Maryland?

Question

Are fishing licenses required if a person plans to do recreational fishing in either rivers, lakes, or the Chesapeake bay?

Also, what are the policies for crabs and clams/shellfish?

Every state in the union requires a license. some require special licenses to fish in certain areas or for certain fish. I believe maryland has a website where you can purchase your license online. check it out. this site also has a lot of information and regulations about your states fishing program.
