Fishing question ????

hi everyone ive always been interested in fishing but id only go if i was going to eat the fish can people just give me basic info and equipment also link would be greatly appreciated

hi t, what fish are you after,  let me no i  will try to help you .===Hi t, the easiest fish to catch in the sea are mackerel,just cast a line of 3-6 fethers into the sea and reel in,try to fish of rocks or piers,if you want more info let me no pal,

The easiest fish to catch are panfish; bluegill, perch, crappie. They are also the best tasting.(so ive heard) Just write this stuff down, and go to a local sports store and ask an employee for help.

1. Ultra Light Action Spinning or Spincast Rod and Reel Combo

2. #8-#10 hooks, snelled make it easier.

3. Any kind of jarred Berkley baits; Crappie Nibbles, Gulp! Corn( find these  the best

4. Small bobbers, red and white plastics

5. Five gallon bucket( to hold the fish after you catch em)

6.Lures called: Crappie Tube jigs, in red and yellow. 1.5in

7. 1/32 oz jig heads for tubes and grubs

8. 1.5 in grubs, and color, or try different ones and see what works.

thats a good starters kit for panfish

Catfish-

1. Medium to Medium heavy spinning or spincast combo, with 15 pound line

2. 1/0 hooks, single or treble bait holders

3. baits- shad, worms, livers Packaged baits- Stink baits, premolded

4. pliers

5. 1/4 to 1/2 ounce dipsey or egg sinkers

go to the library and start reading about the species you want to target once you sound like you know just a little more what anyone hear has to say will mean so very much more to you. I bet you cant even tie a knot yet and that is in books also the rappala knot you can get by on and that instruction sheet is in every rappala bait on the market.
