Fishing rod question? can anyone help?

I just received a Trail fish rod with signal. there is an electronic fish strike indicator on it. no instructions, can any help me?

I agree with alex, stick to feeling your strike. with the indicator you can not feel a lot of whats going on or see whats going on if you bank fish on a pole stand.  a lot of times you will rely so much on the indicator and a fish will be moving towards you with the bait that you will not see the line or feel the loss in tension on your line.  I checked those poles out and every thing about them says I will loose more fish in the long run.

just take it off if you can its just weighing you down you might not be able to feel bites

hay i am really sorry to tell you their is no fun in those poles the real up the fish no matter wat and you know ware they are its no fun to me but it might be to you but if you ask me stick to the basics

i think u should probably just stick with a regular fishin pole cuz it is alot easier

buy an Ugly stick and move on- it will be easier in the long run.
