Fishing tips for s. Manistique lake

lure tips or good spots to fish,lure color,depth,any info.on s. manistique lake would be greatly appreciated.

I've fished S. Manistique Lake a few times, and had good luck using a 1/8 oz. Fuzz-E-Grub in hot yellow, chartreuse, green, orange and chartreuse, and a chartreuse body on a red head (you can't buy that color combination).  I fished along the drop offs and weed edges....I had good luck close by the boat landing.  I tipped my jigs with 2 to 3" minnows (fatheads are a good choice) or leeches....no jumbos.  I've had better luck fishing Big Manistique Lake, and you can always stop at Chamberlain's for lunch.
