Fishing with surface drives?

I am planning to build a ca. 40ft boat which is fast, and suitible for diving and fishing. I am thinking about surface drives, but was wondering how they perform/handle at displacement speed while trolling.

Surfice drives are not well suited for this dual use.  It's all about power, RPM, and pitch of the props.  I'd recomend the Volvo-Dual prop coupled \with turbo engine.
