Fit 8 Queens on a chess board where none of them can attack the other...?

They can't be able to attack each other diagonally, or on the same rank or file. There is 12 different variations. Find 1! :)

  3. There are 92 distinct solutions.  If you count symmetric solutions as the same (i.e. same except for rotating or reflecting the board) there are 12 solutions.  They're listed here:

  4. a1, b3, c5, d7, f8, g6, h4,  and e2...took me 5 mins..for that variation...pretty sure the other variations are similar set ups just differnt squares....cool puzzle...i enjoyed it thanku
