I am thinking of installing a car cd/dvd player in my focus which is a 53plate... (old shape) however i am wondering will my controls / stalk still operate?

Also will i need a wiring harness kit or a different iso?

  1. As standard the steering controls will not work with an aftermarket head unit.  However there are additional interfaces available to do this.  Alpine do some for their head units and Connects2, Soundlinx and Autoleads do interfaces for other makes.  You will need a Ford to ISOadaptor harness and a fascia adaptor as well.

  2. it comes with aharness but you will need to take out your old stereo and cut some wies and if you talking about the controls on the steering wheel it prolly wont but i think they make a kit that will make it work, and for 200 bucks thats a good deal i dont think its a real named bran i think its a printed label
