Fitting alarm to MK1 Fiat Punto

Question

I am trying to fit a car alarm to a Fiat Punto MK1 (N Reg 1995). It is a Falcon Predator Easy-Fit. I have read that the central locking pulses are on the blue and white wires... yet when connected with a scotch lock, nothing happens when I arm and disarm. What do I do?

Now ask yourself why would someone want to steal that - they might take the alarm drain the fuel & leave the car lol

Scotchlocks are notoriously difficult to fit correctly.

Just a thought but make sure you are actually getting a currecnt going through.

Better off not to install the alarm, leave it unlocked and pray some idiot steals it.
