I have several Cd's that each contain 24, 25 minute long audio files. I want to make more Cd's' like this but my only problem is that I don't remember how I did it, especially since most Cd's only hold 80 minutes of playtime, but in my stereo these Cd's will play for almost two days straight (or however many hours 24 x 25 comes out to). Also the files kbps is the standard 64 so I didn't compress the files and they are regular mp3's that are 11 mb each. The sound quality is also pretty good, and I do not believe that the Cd's I'm using are data Cd's. Ive also experimented with converting mp3's into different types of audio files and none of them come close to only being 11mb in size. Does anyone know how I did this and how I can do it again? Thanks for any help.

  1. If you're doing music for the purpose of playing in a cd only player, the only way to cram more in is to cut the time between tracks.  It's usually something like 4 seconds.  Ever listen to a comedy cd and it goes through tracks without interruption?  That's what you do.  If you have a cd player that also plays mp3's, then you can do an mp3 data cd that will play for days.
