Fitting new car audio system to old Astra (r, reg)?

Question

I have removed the old radio, code was broken, vauxhall not very helpful. Bought a cheap Nikkai from Maplin. User manual not very helpful. I have lined up the ISO connector so it connects to the bottom female connectors because of the locating lugs.

I cannot connect the aux input, but I can remember the Maplins Guy telling me I need another ISO Connector?

I don't know what one is? I thought I had connected that.

What is it and where can I buy one, other than Halfords?(long story).

ok, i had the same problem, i got a wonderfull wiring kit from ebay,

i found it only worked when ignition was on.

let me know if you need any more help.
