Fitting sky HD from sky

Question

I am soon to be getting a sky HD box and was wondering when I get it can i install it myself by just switching the wires with my Sky box with the exception of the HDMI.

If you already have Sky Plus - yes, you can just switch the wires over, although I think you'll still have to deal with Sky to get your subscription upgraded to HD and get your viewing card paired to your new box.

If you just have plain old Sky - no, you have to fit a new multi-output LNB to the dish and run a second cable feed to the box first. The Sky HD box has twin tuners (just like Sky Plus) so it needs two separate feeds from the dish.
