Five big deals completed on deadline day..... Your thoughts on these moves..?

1. Robinho, from Real Madrid to Manchester City £32.5m

2. Dimitar Berbatov, from Tottenham to Manchester United £30.75m

3. Marouane Fellain, from Standard Liege to Everton £15m

4. Roman Pavlyuchenko, from Spartak Moscow to Tottenham £14m

5. Vedran Corluka, from Manchester City to Tottenham £8.5m.

I think Berbatov, if not Roman Pavlyuchenklo will score the most goals out of those, Robinho will not be the same Robinho he was at Real Madrid with Man City, they need more players to link up and help him, through balls, crosses, etc. Pavlyuchenklo is a brainy striker like Teddy Sheringham. I'm an Arsenal fan and I hate this lol my every favorite player from the Euros going to Tottenham! Modric, Pavlyuchenklo etc

So any thoughts on these moves made on the last day of the transfer window ?

Thanks.

Star please :)

  1. 1. Good deal for both parties concerned from Real's point of view Chelsea had gone about the deal the wronge way

    2. Good deal for manchester united I think Berbatov was increadibly selfish basicly saying with his performance for Totenham this season he was either going to play for man united or no one

    3. Only time will tell because against liverpool in that game i didnt see a £15m player or a club record fee, but obviously david moyes saw otherwise

    4. A very good aquisition for Totenham and a good replacement for keane and berbatov, he exploded on to the scene at Euro 2008 and if he can produce performances like that for totenham they will have a good chance of getting in to the top 4

    5. Good deal for both parties Corluka didnt do amazing at man city and has a chance to further his career and Totenham may be able to ge the best out of him

    (6. Riera to liverpool  -  great aquisition for liverpool, it was greatly publicised that they needed a winger to give the team more width and balance)

  2. 1)bad move 4 him i think, should hav gon 2 chelsea

2)great signing 4 man u, shud be gud this season

3)dont know much about him but heard hes a gud player

4)gud player, better than arshavin in my opinion

5)strong defender, hes gud on the attack aswell

  3. so glad man u got berbatov and chelsea didnt get robinho!

  4. 1. Robinho will regret it sooner or later

    2. He will struggle, similar to Keane at Liverpool

    3. Good player, but not worth £15 million

    4. I completely disagree with you on this one! He can score some great goals but also normally misses tap ins! He is similar to Kuyt, in my opinion!

    5. Very good defender, disappointed he's gone to the Spuds

  5. only berbatov pavlychenko and robinho will make an impact

  6. Tottenham is buying defenders but come on i dont see Tottenham playing well until next year. The have no chemistry in the defense and one signing more can possibly make more harm than good. And lets face it Tottenham will sell half their players next year like they did last time they went in a spending spree. I think Tottenham has what Arsenal doesnt... they sign players and Arsenal has what tottenham doesnt they dont sign any players and that would be good for Spurs as for the rest Berbatov wont do ish and Robinho will flop in Man City... Fellaini will be dangerous for Everton haha

  7. alright mate,

robinho....great buy if he stays fit city will do well with him...a world class player brings a little bit of something special when they join a club....klinnsmann done it for Spurs

    berbatov.....scum

fellain..never even heard of him tbh

    roman.....never heard of either............

    corluka.....or him

  8. 1. Good move that compliments the other City signings

    2. Wont score as much, too many other ego's on MU

    3. Everton needs all the help they can get so good deal

    4. Questionable. Big diffrence between EPL and Rissian League

    5. Smart move by Spurs. Their D is pretty bad

  9. Robinho said he had his heart set on playing for Chelsea, he gets offered more money and runs to city. What a joke. Whether he willl make the step to the premier league or not is yet to be seen. The rest I all think are great buys, berbatov being a great buy for united and a great sel for spurs.

  10. 1/ Went for the money.

2/ Will score 20+ this season.

3/ Went to a bottom half team.

4/ Class act will score plenty with the service he will get.

5/ Good player will have to work hard as Spurs will be scoring plenty but also conceding plenty.

  11. 1. Great, great buy for City, maybe a bit overpriced but a poor move for Robinho.

    2. Again, a bit overpriced for a 27 yr old but he has the potential to fill the shoes of van Nistelrooy and Cantona.

    3. Everton will be glad they finally got a player of Fellain's quality. Otherwise it would be a dull looking season.

    4. I agree, I think Pavlyuchenko does have the potential to score the most goals. Having said that I haven't seen him play much, so the transition from Russian league to English will be interesting. He's 6'2, so could be a good target man for Spurs. I don't rate Bent in the air :)

    5. Spurs need to improve defence and this is a good move, good price too.

  12. 1.  Great signing for them

    2.  Inevitable, he is very overated IMO

    3.  Decent player, think he will do well

    4.  Great player, I rate him even more than Arshavin

    5.  Average player

  13. haha THFC finds berbatov a scum! i think they r great transfers although i agree with u on robinho!

  14. 1. Move of the summer - Man City can fell lucky, he is an outstanding player

    2. Over rated huffy big money grabing baby

    3. Decent

    4. Is he really worth this much after one euro campaign

    5. Great defender but gone to wrong club.
