Five of us are flying in from United States in late November and we will be staying in Rome for 6 nights. Can someone recommend a hotel that is very centrally located to shopping & nightlife. And how can we book our accommodation there ?

I just got back from Rome a week ago and stayed at the Westin Excelsior. It was very centrally located. Probably 7 clubs or nice restaurants just within one block. Great hotel. Great service. Good air conditioning, and as always, The Westin Heavenly Bed.

The Excelsior is a good mix...you know you are in Italy, but it has been "Americanized" enough, so that you are not too far from comfort.

I have never had any problem with them. It's a great site. BTW- There isn't really anyplace in Rome that is a bad location to stay. It is an easy city to get around and walking is the best way to see everything.
